MANDALA ART EXHIBIT, from Ancient Tibet to Today,
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 5-8PM, Via Aventina 7, an evening of discovery,in collaboration with ARTROM GALLERY,an exhibition of contemporary artwork by GIANPISTONE, DAM CHHOI LAMA, DAVID GENOVESI, CHRIS FLISHER, DIGITAL DAVE, 5 international artists, each working in a different medium and from a personalized perspective.
This extraordinary exhibition of Mandal artwork will offer the visitors an opportunity to take a journey from the birth of the symbol and its sacred connotations in Tibet, to the most contemporary manifestations of today, expressed trough animation of its digitalized from.
Honored Guest Speakers Dr.Massimiliano Polichetti from the Museo Nazionale d'Arte Orientale a Roma and Guru Shabad Singh, Direttore Didattico del Centro Kundalini Yoga "Yogi Bhajan Akhara" will speak of the origin of the symbol and its cultural context, giving the viewer a clear starting point for understanding the symbol's evolution.
